Yoga & Yoga Therapy

Personally guided. At your pace.

More than movement. More than relaxation.

More than movement. More than relaxation.

Yoga combines movement, breath, body awareness, and stillness. It invites you to perceive your body more consciously, better recognize your own needs and limits, and reconnect with yourself. At times, stillness and relief may be helpful; at others, strength, movement, and a sense of vitality.

My services are designed for people seeking personal, mindful support—whether dealing with chronic stress, depression, anxiety, or the aftereffects of trauma, or navigating life during and after a cancer diagnosis. The focus is not on performance or how a posture looks from the outside; instead, it centers on what supports you in your specific situation and feels right for you.

A practice that gives you choices

A practice that gives you choices

My yoga sessions are designed to be traumasensitive. This does not mean that you need to have a trauma diagnosis or speak about personal experiences; rather, the term describes the approach I take to teaching.

I view the instructions as invitations, not as requirements. You decide for yourself which variation to choose, how intensively to practice, and when you need a break.

In practice, this also means:

  • clear and calm instructions
  • a reliable, easily understandable process
  • various ways to perform an exercise
  • breaks and changes at any time
  • respect for your personal boundaries
  • no unsolicited touching or physical corrections

Personally guided yoga classes

A personal, non-anonymous setting is important to me. That is why I deliberately limit my in-person classes to a maximum of four participants. This allows me to recognize individual needs, physical conditions, and how participants are feeling on any given day, and to offer various modifications.
The courses consist of eight or ten sessions each and focus on different areas—such as depression, the aftereffects of trauma, regeneration and the nervous system, or living with and beyond cancer.

Many of my courses are certified as preventive health courses. Statutory health insurance providers often reimburse a portion of the costs. You will find a corresponding note in the details for each of the current course offerings.

FAQ

My classes do not focus on performance, flexibility, or the external form of a pose. The practice is guided by the specific theme of the class and integrates movement, breath, body awareness, and stillness. Exercises can be modified or skipped.
I deliberately limit the classes to four participants. This keeps the setting personal rather than impersonal, allowing me to accommodate varying physical capabilities, individual needs, and how everyone is feeling on the day.
No. You need neither yoga experience nor any particular flexibility or fitness. Various options are offered for the exercises.
Registration is binding for the entire course block. Cancellation is free of charge up to four weeks before the course begins. After that, a fee of 50 percent applies up to 14 days before the start date; thereafter, the full course fee is charged. If the spot is filled by another person, I will refund the course fee minus a €20 processing fee. You may also transfer your spot to another person, subject to prior agreement.
ZPP-certified prevention courses are marked as such in the respective listings. Many statutory health insurance providers reimburse a portion of the course fee if you attend regularly. You can find out the exact amount and the applicable conditions directly from your health insurance provider.
Missed sessions are non-refundable. Provided there is a vacancy in a suitable parallel course, a session may be made up by prior arrangement; however, there is no entitlement to this.
A trial session is possible if there is a spot available in your desired course and joining during the current block makes sense. Please feel free to message me before signing up.
No. Yoga and yoga therapy can complement psychotherapeutic or medical treatment, but they do not replace it.
