Terms and Conditions

1. General

These T apply to all courses offered by Happy Lotus, both in its own rented premises and at other selected locations.

2. Rates

Prices for individual courses can be found on the website www.happylotus.de. Courses must be paid for in cash to the instructor at the end of a session or via bank transfer in advance.

Multi-session passes are personal and non-transferable. These passes allow participation in the courses offered within their period of validity.

3. Expiration of Passes

The validity period of a pass begins on the day of purchase. Validity periods cannot be extended. Payments already made are non-refundable. Unused classes will be transferred upon the purchase of a new pass.

4. Illness of Pass Holders

In the event of illness (calendar months only) lasting at least 4 weeks and upon presentation of a medical certificate, the validity of the pass can be extended by this period free of charge.

5. Organization

Unless otherwise stated, the duration of a yoga course is 90 minutes. Private sessions last 60 minutes. In the event of illness or other unavailability, courses may be canceled by the instructor at short notice if a replacement cannot be arranged. Happy Lotus reserves the right to change the course offerings or times, even at short notice.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

The use of Happy Lotus services, materials, and premises is at your own risk. No liability can be accepted for valuables brought to the premises.

My participation in courses, workshops, and events by HAPPY LOTUS Yoga is at my own risk.

I hereby expressly waive all claims—of any kind—arising from damages, injuries, or consequential damages related to my participation in HAPPY LOTUS Yoga courses.

HAPPY LOTUS Yoga excludes liability for property damage.

I certify that I am physically fit for exercise. I have consulted a doctor regarding my state of health. If I have chosen not to do so, I do so at my own responsibility.

HAPPY LOTUS Yoga assumes no liability for health risks, including those currently unknown to me, in the event of an accident or damage.

I will immediately inform the instructor of any illness or sudden changes in well-being, such as nausea, dizziness, pain, racing heart, or similar, and will stop the course if necessary.

I am insured against accidents and injuries that may occur during yoga training. The same applies to the direct route to and from the training location. If this is not the case, I participate at my own responsibility.

7. Ability to Participate

A normal level of mental and physical resilience is required for all courses. Participants confirm that there are no physical or health restrictions that could exclude them from participating in the courses. Any restrictions must be communicated to the instructor before the start of the course. In the case of severe health restrictions, participants must clarify with their treating physician beforehand whether participation is advisable. Participation in the courses is at your own responsibility.

8. Data Protection

Personal data is stored only within the framework of the EU GDPR. The privacy policy can be viewed at any time at www.happylotus.de.

9. Jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is Cologne.
