Thursday is Yin-Day! Get out your blanket, pillows, light a few candles and get comfy!
In Yin, we take our time. Yin/Restorative Yoga is passive stretching. We hold the individual positions for 3-5 minutes to give our fascia time to get “unstuck”. And not only our fascia? Yin is known to increase your flexibility – while enjoying mostly comfortable, basic positions.
Use this quiet time with yourself to get to know your body better, to let go of tensions both physically and emotionally and to refocus. It is definitely worth a try – especially in our crazy busy times, where we are bombarded by impulses virtually every second of the day. In Yin, it is just you, yourself and you. 🙂
